Building exterior cleaning

Your building's facade collects dust and stains even though no one touches it. We clean the exterior surfaces so the front of the building looks as it should.

About the service

Dust clings to the facade and every eye notices

The fine dust does not pass a building by: it settles on every horizontal surface and lodges in the texture of paint, stone and glass. Summer heat bakes the layer on, and the sparse winter rain leaves streaks and spots on glazing and metal frames. What you see from outside is the first impression for everyone who enters or walks past.

It starts when you call or message us on WhatsApp. You describe the building, its district and the surfaces you need cleaned, and we agree a time that suits the building and its occupants. Leave the facade to us and we take care of the rest.

  • Entrances and stairs
  • Soffits and ledges

What does building exterior cleaning cover?

These are the parts the cleaning covers on the facade and the outer perimeter of the building, depending on its condition and surface types.

  • Stone and painted facade

Layers of dust and salt deposits build up on stone and exterior paint, shifting the colour over time. Cleaning the facade removes them without affecting the surface.

  • Glass and aluminium cladding

Rain streaks, salt deposits and hand marks cling to facade glass and its aluminium frames. We remove them so the building regains its clean, transparent look.

  • Entrances and external canopies

The entrance is the part every visitor stops at. Dust and stains there reflect on the whole building's appearance, so it gets careful attention in the clean.

  • External staircases and walkways

External stone and tiling absorb dust, oil and rain stains that become harder to shift the longer they sit. Cleaning brings the original colour back through.

  • Ledges and soffits

Horizontal ledges and soffits collect dust and bird debris that spread down the facade. We clean them to stop this source of soiling.

  • Gates and perimeter walls

The perimeter wall and gate are part of the first view every visitor has. Cleaning them completes the facade picture and gives the building a consistent look from outside.

How do we start?

Three simple steps, and we take care of the rest.

  1. Call or message us on WhatsApp

Tell us the service you need and your district.

  2. Describe the building and its surfaces

Tell us the facade type, stone, glass, paint or a mix, the number of floors and the district, and describe what you see, whether stains, streaking or colour change.

  3. We agree a time and you prepare

We settle a time that works for the building and its occupants. It helps to notify residents in advance and to keep entrances and outer pathways clear for access to the facade.

  4. We work and you check the result

We clean the exterior surfaces from top to bottom. Afterwards, check the facade, entrances and ledges to confirm that stains and streaks are gone.

Questions about Building exterior cleaning

What are the signs that the exterior facade needs cleaning?

The clearest signs are colour change on parts of the facade, dark streaks below ledges and projections, bird staining on stone or glass, and rain streaking where light rain mixes with settled dust. A long gap between cleans is enough for these layers to build up noticeably.

My building has natural stone: does that need a different approach from painted render?

Yes. Natural stone is porous and absorbs dirt and salts differently from smooth paint. The approach depends on the stone type, its condition and how deep the staining is. That is why we ask you to describe the facade type when you call, so we can agree on the right method.

What affects the scope of work when cleaning a building exterior?

The scope is shaped by the number of floors and the facade area, the surface types such as stone, glass, paint and metal, how accessible the ledges and high parts are, and how much soiling has built up. We go through all of this with you to agree what the work covers.

Should I notify the building's occupants before the exterior clean?

It is advisable, especially if the clean covers windows or entrances near flats. Notifying residents in advance avoids disruption and makes access to all parts of the facade easier. We remind you of this when we agree the time.

What should I check after the exterior clean is done?

Check the facade from a reasonable distance in daylight to confirm that streaks, dark staining and bird marks have gone. Also look at window frames, floor ledges and the main entrance, as these are the parts visitors notice first. Mention anything you see to the team before they leave.
