Children touch everything, and cleanliness starts at floor level
In a nursery or kindergarten, children spend most of their time on the floor: crawling, sitting and playing with hands directly on tiles, carpet or foam mats. That is the real difference between cleaning this kind of space and cleaning an office or a shop. The surface that barely matters in an adult environment is exactly the one a child touches, sits on or puts to their mouth.
The summer heat and air-conditioning condensation add to the pressure of heavy daily use. Moisture works its way under mats and furniture, and fine dust settles in the joints of toys and along the edges of low shelves where children pick up their things. These surfaces need a different approach from the high shelves and counters that small hands never reach.
To get started, call us or send a message on WhatsApp. Tell us your district, the size of the nursery and the number of rooms, and we agree a time that fits the nursery's timetable, whether that is an evening after the children have left or another time that suits you.

What does nursery and kindergarten cleaning cover?
These are the areas the cleaning goes through in a nursery or kindergarten, depending on the condition of the space and what you notice in it.
- Floors and mats
We clean tiles, wooden floors and foam mats at floor level, where food residue, handprints and paint marks build up and where children spend most of their time.
- Toys and activity equipment
Plastic and wooden toys collect grime in their joints and crevices, and that transfers directly to children's hands. We wipe them down and clean the surfaces that are handled and touched.
- Bathrooms and children's toilets
Low-level children's toilets and washbasins get heavy use throughout the day. We focus on the staining and residue that collects under the rim, around the taps and on the floor immediately around them.
- Rest and nap rooms
Low beds, mattresses and surrounding curtains need regular cleaning. Dust and odour build up in them through daily use and the moisture that air conditioning brings.
- Kitchen and meal area
Food residue attracts insects quickly in the heat. We wipe surfaces, sweep and mop floors, and pay attention to the corners and the spaces under tables where crumbs gather.
- Windows and low ledges
Low ledges and windows are within children's direct reach and collect dust and fingerprints. We clean them as part of the job without needing any raised equipment.
How do we start?
Three simple steps, and we take care of the rest.
Call or message us on WhatsApp
Tell us the service you need and your district.
Tell us about the nursery
Tell us your district, the size of the nursery, the number of rooms and what you notice, such as marks on floors, a smell in the bathrooms or any area that needs particular attention.
We agree a time and you prepare
We settle on a time after the children have left or at another time that suits you, and you clear small items and scattered toys from the floors so we can reach every surface.
We work and you check
We clean the floors, toys, bathrooms, kitchen and low ledges, then you check the floors, bathrooms and meal area with us to make sure everything is as it should be.
A service that comes to your door
- We come to youOur team arrives at your home with its equipment.
- One callCall or message us on WhatsApp and we arrange the rest.
- Other facilities with the same teamWe also clean schools, hospitals, restaurants and hotels, and we handle commercial pest control too.
- Describe the nursery in your own wordsA call or a WhatsApp message is enough to describe the size of the space and what it needs.
One worry about cleaning a nursery is that something used on the surfaces might leave a residue where children sit or play. When you call, tell us any specific requirements the nursery has, and we agree the approach before we start, so you are fully comfortable with the environment the children return to.

Questions about Nursery & kindergarten cleaning
How do I know the nursery needs a thorough clean rather than the usual daily tidy?
Daily cleaning removes what is on the surface, but grime builds up over time in joints, under furniture and behind equipment. Signs that a thorough clean is due include a persistent smell in the rooms despite daily tidying, marks on floors that do not come off with normal mopping, and toys with visible residue in their joints.
What is different about cleaning floors used by children?
Floors in a children's space are cleaned with more attention at a lower level because hands and mouths come into direct contact with them. Foam mats absorb moisture and trap dust in their surface differently from tiles, so we ask you about the floor type when you call so we can prepare the right approach.
Do I need to move all the toys and furniture out before cleaning?
You do not need to empty the space entirely, but it helps to collect small scattered toys to one side and move lighter furniture where you can so we reach the surfaces underneath. If there are heavy pieces, mention them when we agree the time.
What makes cleaning bathrooms in a nursery different from a regular bathroom?
Low children's toilets and small washbasins see far heavier use than those in offices or homes during school hours. Staining and residue build up under the rim and around drain areas quickly, and the floor around them wets and dries many times a day, leaving deposits on the tiles.
There is a smell in one of the nap rooms even with the windows open, what is usually the cause?
The cause is often moisture trapped under the mattresses or in the gap between low beds and the floor. This is common in a warm climate with constant air conditioning running. The fix starts with cleaning the floor under the beds, airing the mattresses and pulling them away from the wall for a while.
The nursery has specific cleanliness requirements, do you take that into account?
When you call or message us, tell us about any specific requirements your facility has, whether that concerns priority areas or the way certain areas are handled. We agree the scope of the work before we start so it fits what you need.
What changes about the cleaning depending on whether the nursery runs a morning or an evening session?
The right time to clean is after all children and staff have left and the nursery is closed. Whether that is after the morning or the evening session is something we agree with you when you call. What changes is only the timing of the appointment, not the scope of the work.
