Cladding traps dust at every joint and edge
Cladding panels are usually made from two aluminium sheets bonded to a polyethylene core, and their painted surface builds up a static charge in the dry air that pulls fine dust in and holds it. Dust that collects at the rubber joints and metal frames absorbs the night's moisture and turns over time into yellow or brown marks that water alone will not shift.
We start by hearing what you notice about your cladding, then we clean the panels, joints, frames and edges. Call or WhatsApp us, tell us your district, the number of floors and the type of facade, and we agree a time.
- Aluminium composite panels
- Joints and frames
- High surfaces and corners
What does cladding cleaning cover?
These are the parts the cleaning goes through on a cladding facade, depending on the condition, the building height and what you notice.
- Painted aluminium panels
We remove the layer of caked dust from the painted surface without scratching it, because scratched or cracked paint spoils the look and exposes the core to moisture.
- Rubber joints
Dust collects in the silicone seams between panels and stains them dark, so we clean them carefully to avoid disturbing their flexibility.
- Metal frames and mullions
Vertical and horizontal frames collect dust on both faces, and cleaning them gives the facade a consistent look from top to bottom.
- Panel edges and corners
The corners of the facade and the edges of each panel catch more dust than the flat surface because they interrupt the airflow, and they show clearly when you look from a distance.
- Sills and bottom edges
Bottom edges collect what falls from above and rises from the ground, and some carry rainwater marks that have dried into white deposits needing a different approach from simple dust washing.
- Upper-floor surfaces
Upper floors receive more wind-carried dust than the lower ones and cannot be reached by hand from the ground, so we agree the right access method with you when we settle the appointment.
How do we start?
Three simple steps, and we take care of the rest.
Call or message us on WhatsApp
Tell us the service you need and your district.
Tell us about your cladding
Tell us what you notice, which district the building is in, how many floors it has, and whether the facade is on a residential or a commercial building.
We agree a time
We settle on a time that suits you, and you check that the area around the building is accessible and let us know about any obstacles near the facade.
We clean and you check
We clean the panels, joints, frames and edges, then you look at the facade from a distance to confirm the stains and dark lines have gone.
A service that comes to your door
- We come to youOur team arrives at your home with its equipment.
- One callCall or message us on WhatsApp and we arrange the rest.
- Other facades with the same teamWe also clean glass facades, stone facades, shopfronts and villa facades, and can use facade cleaning lifts or drone facade cleaning depending on the height.
- Describe it in your own wordsA call or a WhatsApp message is enough to tell us what you notice on your cladding.
One worry is that cleaning might scratch the panel coating or disturb the joints. The painted surface of cladding is sensitive to abrasive tools, so the cleaning method is agreed after we know the type of coating and the condition of the joints when you call. Tell us what you see and leave the rest to us.

Questions about Cladding cleaning
How do I know the cladding needs cleaning rather than repair?
If the panels themselves are intact with no cracked or peeling paint, and what you see is a darkened colour, yellow marks or brown lines at the joints, cleaning is the likely answer. If you notice bubbling panels or cracked silicone seams, the structure needs checking before any cleaning goes ahead.
Where do the yellow marks at the cladding joints come from?
Fine dust settles in the silicone seams between panels, then the night's moisture dissolves salts and oxides carried in by the wind. Repeated drying and rewetting builds up yellow or brown marks that look different from ordinary dust and need attention focused on the joints.
What should I prepare before cladding cleaning?
Make sure the area directly around the building is clear of cars and obstacles on the sides to be cleaned. If the building is commercial, let tenants or staff near the facade know what is happening, and tell us about any windows or openings you want kept away from water.
Does the type of coating on the panels affect how they are cleaned?
Yes, powder-coated and PVDF-coated panels differ in how sensitive they are to friction and cleaning agents. That is why we ask about the type of cladding, its age and whether it has been repainted when you call, and the right method is agreed after that.
What affects the price of cladding cleaning?
The cost depends on the area of the facade, the building height, the access method needed and the condition of the panels and joints. The price is agreed after you describe your building when you call or message us on WhatsApp.
