Glass holds every mark it meets
A glass facade absorbs the intense summer heat and meets dust storms throughout the year. Fine dust sticks to the surface, and the rare rainfall deposits salt and carbonate residues in white layers that harden over time. These layers do not come off with water alone, and scratching the glass when trying to remove them with the wrong tools is a common problem.
Tell us about the facade, what you notice on it, and which district it is in. Call or message us on WhatsApp and we agree a time, then we take care of the rest.

What does glass facade cleaning cover?
These are the parts the cleaning goes through, depending on the condition of the facade, its height and what you notice on it.
- Glass panels
We remove built-up dust and surface marks from the panels, because a layer of fine dust reduces the transparency the facade was designed to give.
- Salt and carbonate deposits
The stubborn white marks on glass are usually salts and carbonates left by water spray. We treat them in a way that suits the glass surface without marking it.
- Metal and plastic frames
Dirt collects in the corners of frames and at glass joints, and cleaning it is necessary so that dirt does not run back onto the glass after the work is done.
- Silicone lines and joints
The silicone between glass panels collects dark dust and changes colour over time. We wipe it as part of the clean because it shows clearly against a clean facade.
- Top edges of the panels
The top edge of each panel collects dust carried by the wind, so we make sure to clean it to stop dirt working its way back down the surface.
- Ground-level and base glazing
Panels close to the ground face water spray, tarmac marks and heavier soiling, and they need more attention than the upper panels.
How do we start?
Three simple steps, and we take care of the rest.
Call or message us on WhatsApp
Tell us the service you need and your district.
Describe the facade to us
Tell us the building's height, how many glazed floors it has, and what you notice, such as white marks or a hazy surface, and which district the facade is in.
We agree a time and you prepare
We agree a time that suits you. Let us know if there are planters, barriers or obstacles in front of the facade, so we can prepare the right access method for your building's height.
We work and you check
We clean the panels, frames and joints. After we finish, check the facade in daylight at an angle to confirm the surface is clear of deposits and streaks.
A service that comes to your door
- We come to youOur team arrives at your home with its equipment.
- One callCall or message us on WhatsApp and we arrange the rest.
- Other facade types covered tooWe also clean stone facades, cladding, shopfronts and villas, and use facade cleaning lifts and drone facade cleaning when needed.
- Describe it in your own wordsA call or a WhatsApp message is enough. Tell us what you notice on the glass facade and which district you are in.
One worry with glass facade cleaning is that the glass will be scratched in the process, and it is a fair concern because glass is a sensitive surface. Cleaning it correctly starts with knowing what the mark is, since not all deposits are treated the same way. Tell us what you see and leave the method to us.

Questions about Glass facade cleaning
How do I know the glass facade needs a proper clean and not just a wipe?
If white marks or haziness remain after rinsing with water, they are most likely salt or carbonate deposits that water alone cannot remove. Surface dust shows as a fine grey layer you can feel with a finger. In both cases a full clean is different from a quick wipe that shifts only the outer layer without reaching what has bonded to the surface.
Do white marks on the glass mean the glass itself is damaged?
Not necessarily. The white marks common on glass facades come from salts and carbonates left by rainwater, irrigation spray or condensation. These deposits sit on the surface and do not penetrate it in most cases, and they can be removed with the right treatment. Scratches inside the glass surface look different and need a separate assessment.
What should I prepare before the glass facade is cleaned?
Let us know the building's height and how many floors the glass facade covers, and point out any obstruction in front of it such as canopies, plants or parking areas. If the facade includes openable windows, tell us so we can account for that.
What should I check on the glass after cleaning is done?
Check the facade in daylight at an angle rather than head-on, because the angle reveals fine streaks and marks that a straight view hides. Also check that the frames along the panel edges are clean and that the silicone lines are free of dark residue.
What affects how the glass facade on my building is cleaned?
Height is the first factor because it determines access, and options include facade cleaning lifts or drone facade cleaning when necessary. Then comes the nature of the marks, since surface dust differs from chemical deposits. The type of glass, the area of the facade and ease of access also matter. We ask about all of this when you call so we can agree on what suits your building.
