Furniture holds dirt you cannot always see
Fine dust drifts through windows and settles on surfaces, but it also works into folds, joints and woven fibres. Furniture does not always show what it is holding: the layer of grease and dust on a wooden table can look like a shine, and a stain in chair fabric disappears until it dries and becomes a fixed mark.
The right method depends on the material. Painted wood surfaces need a process that protects the finish while lifting dust from grooves and edges. Woven fabric chairs collect dirt between the threads and need a different approach from leather, which can crack if it dries out without care. Many customers ask for upholstery washing, steam furniture cleaning, or furniture sanitizing, and the right choice is settled by the type and condition of the piece when you call.
Call or message us on WhatsApp, tell us what furniture you want cleaned and which district you are in, and we agree a time with you. The services in the list below help you choose the right one for your piece.
- Wood furniture
- Chairs and leather
- Stains and build-up
Which piece do you have? Choose the right service
The three services below cover different materials and furniture types; pick the one that matches your piece, or tell us when you call and we will point you to the right one.
- Wood furniture cleaningWhen your tables, cabinets or bed frames are wooden and carrying a film of dust and grease in the painted grooves and corners.
- Chair cleaningWhen your dining or sitting chairs have fabric upholstery and need stains and built-up dirt worked out from between the threads.
- Leather chair cleaningWhen your natural or synthetic leather chairs have lost their fresh look and need the grime lifted before the surface dries out.
How do we start?
Three simple steps, and we take care of the rest.
Call or message us on WhatsApp
Tell us the service you need and your district.
Describe your piece
Tell us the type of furniture, whether wood, fabric chair or leather, what you notice on it such as stains, smell or discolouration, and which district you are in.
We agree a time
We settle on a time that suits you; the best preparation is to clear items off the piece and leave clear access to it from all sides.
We work and you check
We clean the piece in the way its material calls for, then you inspect it yourself to confirm the stains are gone and the surface is clean before we leave.
A service that comes to your door
- We come to youOur team arrives at your home with its equipment.
- One callCall or message us on WhatsApp and we arrange the rest.
- All your furnishings with one teamWe clean wood furniture, chairs, leather, sofas, carpets, wall-to-wall carpet, curtains, mattresses and chandeliers.
- Just describe what you need cleanedA call or a WhatsApp message is enough to tell us the furniture type and what you notice, and we agree the rest.
One worry is that cleaning will leave a mark on the finish, the leather or the fabric. The method is chosen according to each piece's material rather than one approach for everything, and each surface is treated in the way that suits it. Describe what you have, and leave the rest to us.

Questions about Furniture & upholstery cleaning
When does furniture need specialist cleaning rather than a daily wipe?
Daily wiping removes surface dust, but the dirt that builds up in folds, joints and fabric cannot be lifted by wiping. When a stain has set, a colour change appears in a heavily used area, or you notice a smell in the fabric, these are signs the piece needs a deeper clean.
Can old dried stains be removed?
A dried stain is harder than a fresh one because the substance has worked into the fibres or the wood pores. Many old stains improve greatly with the right treatment, and some disappear completely. Tell us the type of stain and when it happened when you call, and we will assess it.
Does the dust and summer heat affect furniture differently from other cities?
Yes. The fine dust is finer than coastal sand and penetrates fabric and finishes more deeply. The summer heat speeds up leather drying and weakens the adhesive in wood furniture joints. As a result, furniture collects dust faster and needs more regular attention.
How do I prepare the furniture before the cleaning appointment?
Remove items placed on the piece or in its drawers, and move nearby small furniture to give clear working space. If the piece is heavy and needs moving, let us know when we agree the time so we can prepare.
Does the cleaning method change with the age or condition of the piece?
Yes. An older piece with a cracked finish or worn leather needs more careful treatment than a newer one. When you call, tell us the age of the piece, its current condition, and whether any areas were already damaged so they are not confused with cleaning marks.
What is the difference between sofa cleaning and chair cleaning?
Sofas and chairs share fabric materials but each has its own dedicated service that fits its size and how it is used. Sofa cleaning is a separate service in the list below, fabric chairs have chair cleaning, and leather chairs have leather chair cleaning. Tell us what you have and we will point you to the right one.
Does furniture cleaning also remove smells?
Smells in fabric furniture come from dirt and moisture trapped in the threads. Cleaning the fabric removes many of the sources, particularly food residue, perspiration and damp. Strong smells caused by foam damage or old mould need to be assessed when the appointment is agreed.
