Dust settles into every detail
The fine dust does not only settle on flat surfaces; it works into carvings, joints and the corners of drawer openings. Over time that layer turns into a dry paste that dulls the wood colour and hides the finish, and a quick wipe does not shift it.
Tell us what pieces you have and what you notice on them, whether it is a table, a bed frame, a wardrobe or a shelving unit. Call or message us on WhatsApp, tell us your district, and we agree a time.

What does wood furniture cleaning cover?
These are the parts and surfaces the cleaning covers in wood furniture pieces, depending on the wood type, the finish condition and what you notice.
- Flat surfaces
We wipe table tops, wardrobe panels and shelves in a way that suits the finish, because a gloss coat and a matt coat each need a different approach.
- Carvings and decorative detail
Carvings trap dust in their recesses that a cloth cannot reach, so we clean them with fine tools that get into the carved shapes.
- Joints and edges
Dirt builds up in frame joints and along panel edges; cleaning them brings back the clear line between parts and restores the shape of the piece.
- Drawers inside and out
We clean drawer fronts and sides on the outside, and go over the inner edges too, where dust gathers out of sight over a long time.
- Legs and posts
Table, chair and bed legs collect dust and marks from the floor; we clean them from top to bottom in a way that suits their shape.
- Finish and coating
We check the finish condition before we start and point out any scratch or flaking that deserves attention, because spotting it early prevents it from spreading.

Questions about Wood furniture cleaning
How do I know my wood furniture needs a proper clean and not just a wipe?
If a grey film stays on the surface after wiping, the carvings and joints are darkened with dust, or the colour looks flat and dull, a regular wipe will not fix it. Fine sand dust is heavy, and furniture used every day needs a deeper clean at regular intervals.
Does the cleaning method differ from one piece to another?
Yes, because the wood type and the coating affect the approach. A gloss finish differs from a matt one, and untreated natural wood differs from both. That is why we ask about the piece and what you notice when you call.
What should I remove from the furniture before the appointment?
Clear items placed on top, such as vases, trays and small appliances, and empty any drawers whose inner edges you want cleaned. If a piece is large or in a tight spot, let us know so we can prepare.
I noticed light scratches in the finish; will cleaning make them worse?
No, because we check the finish condition before we start. An existing scratch does not widen from cleaning when the method suits the surface. We also point out any scratches we find so you are aware of them, and that check happens before we begin.
Can old wood furniture with flaking finish be cleaned?
Yes, but flaking needs special care. If the coating is lifting in places, we let you know before we start and we agree with you on how to handle those areas. Careful cleaning removes dust and dirt without widening the existing flaking.
