A reptile in your home find where it came from
Geckos, lizards and other small reptiles are drawn to warmth, light and the insects that gather around lamps. The intense summer heat pushes them to seek cooler, shadier shelter, and they find their way in through gaps under doors, AC duct openings and spaces around drain pipes. When you find them inside rooms, hear movement in the ceiling, or notice signs of them in the yard, it means there is an entry point that has not been sealed yet.
We start by listening to what you noticed and where in the home, then we check likely entry points and common hiding spots, deal with the reptiles present and work to secure the space. Call or message us on WhatsApp, tell us your district and what you saw, and we agree a time.

What does reptile control cover?
These are the areas and steps the inspection and treatment go through, depending on the type of reptile and what you describe when you call.
- External entry points
We check gaps under doors and windows, AC openings and any crack in external walls, as these are the main routes reptiles use to get inside.
- Drain openings and pipes
Reptiles climb pipes and enter through uncovered drain openings, so we check these points and assess what needs to be secured.
- Ceiling and suspended ceiling
Geckos move easily on vertical surfaces and above suspended ceilings, and we check the small openings around ceiling frames and wall joints where they hide.
- Garden and yard
Piles of stones, dense plants and damp areas in the yard are favoured hiding spots for lizards, and we check them to find the source of repeated sightings.
- Signs of presence and routes
We look for signs such as small droppings, shed skin and insect remains near light sources, as these mark the usual routes the reptile takes inside the home.
- Dealing with reptiles present
After the inspection we remove the reptiles found, according to the conditions of each area, and discuss with you what can be secured to reduce the chance of return.
How do we start?
Three simple steps, and we take care of the rest.
Call or message us on WhatsApp
Tell us the service you need and your district.
Tell us what you saw
Describe the reptile as best you can, where in the home you saw it, whether it was once or a recurring sighting, and which district you are in.
We agree a time
We settle on a time that suits you, and before the visit keep external doors closed and avoid leaving food or open water in exposed spots in the yard.
Inspection and treatment
We inspect the entry points and hiding spots, remove the reptiles found, then show you what we discovered so you know the areas worth watching afterwards.
A service that comes to your door
- We come to youOur team arrives at your home with its equipment.
- One callCall or message us on WhatsApp and we arrange the rest.
- The same team for neighbouring pest workThe same team also handles snake control, fly control, flea control, cockroach control, ant control, bed bug control, rodent control, termite control and pigeon and bird control.
- Describe it in your own wordsA call or a WhatsApp message is enough to tell us what you noticed and where.
A common worry is not knowing where the reptile got in, or whether it is still somewhere in the home. The inspection answers exactly that question, which is why we begin there before anything else. Tell us what you noticed, and leave the rest to us.

Questions about Reptile control
How do I know there is a reptile in my home if I have not seen it clearly?
Signs that point to a reptile include small black droppings with a white tip near walls or lights, thin shed skin in corners, and faint sounds at night from the ceiling or behind furniture. These traces give us a clear idea of the reptile's usual route when we come to inspect.
What should I prepare before you come for the reptile inspection?
Not much is needed, but keep external doors closed, and if you know a particular spot where you saw the reptile leave it undisturbed for the team to inspect. Also let us know if there are pets in the home so we can take that into account.
I saw a gecko once, does that need a full inspection?
Seeing a reptile once may mean a single individual that wandered in through an open door, or it may point to an open entry point used regularly. The difference shows up in the inspection, so when you call we ask about the details and agree with you on what suits your situation.
Why do lizards appear in the yard more at certain times of year?
Lizards become more active in periods when temperatures are relatively moderate, seeking warmth in the cool season and shade and moisture at peak heat. Yards with dense plants or loosely closed storage areas give them shelter throughout the year.
Does reptile control include sealing entry points or is it inspection only?
We always start with the inspection because it identifies the actual entry points and hiding places. What is agreed for treatment is discussed with you after seeing the site, since the construction and the size of gaps vary from one home to another. Tell us the details when you call and we agree on what suits you.
