A blocked filter means less air and more power
The fine dust builds up on the filter mesh layer by layer. The mesh is designed to protect the coil and the fan behind it, but when its pores block up the AC strains to pull air through, cooling weakens and electricity use rises. Many units run for a long time without the filter being cleaned even once.
Call or message us on WhatsApp, tell us the type of AC you have and the district you are in, and we agree a time that suits you. The cleaning covers the mesh filter, its frame and the surrounding vents, and we check the airflow with you once we finish.

What does AC filter cleaning cover?
These are the parts the cleaning goes through, depending on the type of AC, the filter's condition and what you notice.
- The filter mesh
The mesh is taken out of its frame and washed to remove the built-up dust layer, since it is the main barrier that stops particles from reaching the coil and fan.
- The filter frame
The plastic frame collects dust along its edges and corners, and we wipe it fully before the mesh goes back in, because residue in the frame transfers straight to the clean mesh once it is fitted.
- The air inlet vents
Dust settles on the slats of the indoor unit's front inlet, and we wipe them down because build-up there narrows the air path before it even reaches the filter.
- The carbon or secondary filter
Some units carry a secondary filter behind the main mesh, and we check it when we open the cover and let you know its condition.
- The indoor unit cover
We wipe the outer cover inside and out after removing the filter, as fine dust collects inside it and re-enters the air whenever the cover is opened for self-cleaning.
- Airflow check after fitting
We run the unit after the filter is back in place and confirm that air comes out with normal force, since weak flow after cleaning points to a problem elsewhere in the unit.
How do we start?
Three simple steps, and we take care of the rest.
Call or message us on WhatsApp
Tell us the service you need and your district.
Tell us the AC type
Tell us whether your AC is a split, window, central or concealed unit, which district you are in, and what you notice such as weak air or a smell.
We agree a time
We settle on a time that suits you, and before we arrive switch the AC off for a while so any moisture inside dries out and the dry dust is easier to remove.
Cleaning and checking
We clean the filter, frame, vents and cover, then run the unit with you to check the airflow, and we let you know if the unit needs deeper cleaning beyond the filter.
A service that comes to your door
- We come to youOur team arrives at your home with its equipment.
- One callCall or message us on WhatsApp and we arrange the rest.
- Your other ACs with the same teamWe clean split, window, central and concealed ACs, and air ducts too.
- Describe what you noticeCall or send a WhatsApp message and tell us what your AC is doing and what type it is.
One worry is that cleaning the filter alone might not fix the problem if dirt has already passed it and reached the coil or fan. We look at the unit when we open the cover and tell you what we find, so you decide and we agree on the right next step together.

Questions about AC filter cleaning
How do I know the filter is why my AC blows weakly and not something else?
If the air has been getting weaker gradually over weeks or months with no sudden loss of cooling, a blocked filter is the first thing to check. If cooling stopped suddenly or an error code appeared on the panel, that points to a fault in the unit rather than the filter, and we tell you what we see when we open it.
What should I prepare before the filter cleaning appointment?
Switch the AC off well before the appointment so moisture inside dries out. Move furniture and items from under the indoor unit to give clear access to it. And let us know in advance if the unit is in a tight spot or at an unusual height.
What should I check after the filter is cleaned?
Run the AC and stand in front of the air outlet to check that the flow is stronger than it was before the cleaning. Also check that there is no odd smell when it starts, and that the cover sits back properly with no gaps on either side.
Does filter cleaning differ between a split AC and a window AC?
The mesh in both is removed and washed the same way, but the access differs. In a split the front panel opens and the filter slides out from the top. In a window AC the front cover opens and the body may need to be partially pulled out. That is why we ask for the type when you call.
Does vacuuming the filter at home replace a proper wash?
Vacuuming removes surface dust but does not penetrate the fine pores of the mesh where fine dust clings to the fibres. Washing with water clears that internal dust and reopens the pores, which is why its effect on airflow differs from suction alone.
