A split AC has two units both need cleaning
A split AC is different from other types because it is divided between an indoor unit that pulls in room air and cools it, and an outdoor unit that pushes the heat away. The fine dust that fills the air works its way into both: it clings to the coil and the blower drum inside, and piles up on the condenser coil outside. In both cases the performance drops slowly, and you rarely notice the change all at once.
Call or message us on WhatsApp, tell us what you notice in your AC and which district you are in, and we agree a time that suits you and take care of the rest.
- Coil and blower fan
- Drain line
- Outdoor unit
What does split AC cleaning cover?
These are the parts the cleaning covers across both the indoor and outdoor units, depending on the condition of your AC and what you notice in it.
- The mesh filter
We remove the mesh filter from the indoor unit, wash it and let it dry fully before putting it back, as it is the first barrier against dust and a blocked one restricts everything behind it.
- The cooling coil and fins
Fine dust that gets past the filter sticks to the coil's thin fins and slows the transfer of cold to the air, so we remove it carefully to avoid bending the fins.
- The indoor blower drum
Dirt builds up on the drum's blades and forms dark clumps that the unit blows into the room, and we remove them by cleaning the drum from the inside.
- The drain tray and pipe
Condensation water collects in the drain tray and leaves through the pipe, and when the pipe is blocked by dust and algae the water backs up and drips from the indoor unit.
- The indoor unit cover
We wipe the outer plastic cover and the vents clear of dust and marks, because dust that sits on the cover gets drawn back inside by the airflow.
- The outdoor condenser coil
The outdoor unit sits in open air and collects layers of dust and sand, so we rinse the condenser coil and the outdoor fan when needed to restore its ability to push heat away.
How do we start?
Three simple steps, and we take care of the rest.
Call or message us on WhatsApp
Tell us the service you need and your district.
Tell us what you notice
Tell us whether the air is weak, smells different or water is dripping, and give us your district and the number of split units you want cleaned.
We agree a time and you prepare
We settle on a time that suits you, move furniture and bedding away from the indoor unit, and let us know if the outdoor unit is in a hard-to-reach spot.
The clean and what to check after
We clean both units, then run the AC with you to check the airflow and that condensation drains freely. If you notice anything afterwards, let us know.
A service that comes to your door
- We come to youOur team arrives at your home with its equipment.
- One callCall or message us on WhatsApp and we arrange the rest.
- Other AC types with the same teamWe also clean window ACs, central ACs, concealed ACs and air ducts, as well as AC filters.
- Describe it in your own wordsA call or a WhatsApp message is enough to explain what you are noticing in your unit.
One worry is that the AC might be left apart, or that it will not run properly when the work is done. We switch it on with you before we leave to check that the airflow is back and the drain is clear, so leave the rest to us.

Questions about Split AC cleaning
What signs mean my split AC needs cleaning, not a repair?
When the airflow weakens gradually, a damp or musty smell appears when the unit runs, or water drips from the indoor unit, the cause is usually dust build-up and not a mechanical fault. If the AC stops running suddenly or makes unusual noises, that points to a repair rather than cleaning alone.
Should I cut the power to the split AC before the cleaning appointment?
Yes, it is best to switch the AC off and turn off its circuit breaker before we start, as this protects the electrical parts while water is used in the cleaning. When we agree on the time we will remind you of this and explain exactly what to do.
My outdoor unit is on a shared roof. Can it still be cleaned?
Yes, but it helps to tell us where the unit is when we agree on a time. Reaching a shared roof in a residential building may need you to coordinate with the building management in advance, so we arrive at the agreed time without any hold-up.
Is steam cleaning a split AC different from washing it with water?
The method used depends on the condition of the AC and how each part is built. Some parts such as the coil and the fan are washed, while parts close to electrical circuits are handled with more care. When you call and describe your unit, we agree on the approach that suits it.
I have more than one split unit. Can they all be cleaned at the same appointment?
Yes, tell us how many units you have and where they are in the home when you call. That affects how long the work takes and the appointment details we agree on. The price depends on the number of units and their condition, and we agree it once you explain what you have.
