Ant control

Noticed ants moving in fixed lines, appearing near food or coming up in the garden? Ants rarely come alone, and we help you identify the type and deal with the source.

About the service

Ants appear because the source is still there

Ants do not wander randomly. They follow a chemical trail the workers lay to guide the rest of the colony to food. What you see on the surface is a small fraction of what is inside the wall, in the soil or under the floor, and killing the visible ants alone does not stop the colony.

Ant colonies live in dry soil under paving, alongside foundations and along garden edges, and they enter the home through small cracks in walls, floors or plumbing openings. The summer pushes them indoors in search of moisture and food, so they can appear suddenly in the kitchen, the food store or the bathroom.

Call or message us on WhatsApp and tell us what you notice: where the ants appear, what they look like, their colour, and which district you are in. From there we agree a time that suits you and take care of the rest.

Which type of ant are you dealing with?

The ant's appearance, behaviour and where it shows up tells you which of the services below fits your situation.

How do we start?

Three simple steps, and we take care of the rest.

  1. Call or message us on WhatsApp

Tell us the service you need and your district.

  2. Describe what you see

Tell us where the ants appear, their colour and size, whether they sting or have wings, which district you are in, and whether the problem is indoors or in the garden.

  3. We agree a time

We settle a time that suits you, and you clear surfaces near the ants of food and utensils, and give access to the garden if we need it.

  4. We carry out the work

We treat the ant trails, entry points and nesting areas, then you follow up with us on what you notice afterwards so we can agree on any further steps.

Questions about Ant control

How do I know the ants in my home need treatment and are not just a few strays?

If you see ants moving in a steady line or gathering regularly in the same spot, that points to a chemical trail directing the colony to a food source, which means a colony is nearby. Stray ants appear randomly and disappear. Call us and describe what you see, and we will guide you.

Ants are coming out of cracks in the kitchen floor, is the problem in the floor or the soil beneath?

The colony is usually in the soil under the slab, and cracks in the floor or wall are just entry routes. So treatment targets the soil near the foundation and the entry points together, not the cracks alone. Tell us where the cracks are when you call.

I tried ant spraying with shop products and it did not work, why?

Ant spraying with general products reaches the visible workers but does not reach the queen deep in the soil or wall. The colony continues as long as the queen is alive, and it may even split and open new trails. Treating the source is different from addressing only what appears on the surface.

Does the service cover garden ant control too?

Yes, garden ant control is part of the service, and many ant colonies start in the soil outside the building and enter it later. Tell us when you call whether the problem is in the garden, indoors or both.

How does treatment differ between black, fire and flying ants?

Each type nests and behaves differently: black ants nest in walls and floors, fire ants build mounds in the soil and sting sharply, and flying ants appear seasonally during swarming. That is why we have a separate service for each type in the list below.

What should I prepare before the treatment appointment?

Move food and utensils off surfaces in the kitchen and near where the ants appear. If the garden is included, make sure the edges of paving and paths are accessible. You do not need to empty rooms or move heavy furniture.

After treatment I saw more ants for a short time, is that normal?

Yes, this can happen in the first day or two after treatment as the colony reacts to its disrupted trails. If ants continue to appear in large numbers after that, let us know and we will agree on the next step.
