Oven cleaning

Does burnt fat fill your kitchen with smoke every time you use the oven? Hardened grease baked onto the interior walls is the usual cause, and we clean it out.

About the service

Grease bakes hard inside your oven

Every cooking session leaves a thin layer of fat on the oven's interior walls, its base and its door glass. With repeated heat those layers harden into dark, brittle crusts that ordinary wiping cannot lift, and they give off a burning smell that spreads through the kitchen and the next room.

Call or WhatsApp us, tell us your district and the type of oven you have, and we agree a time. The team cleans the interior walls, the glass, the racks and the base, and you check the oven yourself before you use it again.

  • Oven base and shelves

What does oven cleaning cover?

These are the parts the cleaning goes through, depending on the condition of your oven and how much grease has built up inside it.

  • The interior walls

Fat builds up on the enamel or steel lining and bakes into hard crusts over time; we lift them without scratching the surface.

  • The door glass

Fat vapour and dust collect between the glass panels and cloud the view; we clean both the inner and outer faces to restore clarity.

  • Racks and shelves

Hardened grease on the rack rails makes them stiff and hard to slide; they are soaked and cleaned until they move freely again.

  • The oven base

The base collects food crumbs and liquid fat that burn every time the oven runs; removing them reduces the smoke and smell on each use.

  • The inner door face

The metal inner face of the door catches fat spray from inside the oven; we wipe it fully so the door seals as it should.

  • The frame edge and latch

Grease gathers around the frame edge and the latch area and makes the door stick; cleaning these spots restores a smooth close.

How do we start?

Three simple steps, and we take care of the rest.

  1. Call or message us on WhatsApp

Tell us the service you need and your district.

  2. Tell us about your oven

Tell us the oven type and what you notice: a burning smell, dark crusts, a cloudy glass door, and which district you are in.

  3. We agree a time

We settle on a time that suits you; empty the oven of trays and dishes beforehand, and leave clear space in front of it to work.

  4. Cleaning and checking

We clean the interior walls, glass, racks, base and frame, then you open the oven yourself and check it before you use it again.

The whole home from one company

One worry is that cleaning the oven might scratch the enamel or crack the door glass. Hardened grease needs a different approach on each surface: enamel differs from steel, and glass differs from metal racks. Tell us what you see, and leave the work to us.

Questions about Oven cleaning

How do I know my oven needs a deep clean?

The clearest signs are a burning smell every time you run it, smoke before the oven reaches temperature, and dark crusts on the interior walls that no longer wipe off. A door glass so clouded you cannot see inside is another sign many people notice.

Should I turn the power off before the team arrives?

Yes, the oven must be fully cool and switched off at the power before the work begins, because cleaning the interior walls and glass requires the surfaces to be at room temperature. We will remind you of this when we agree the time.

Does a gas oven clean differently from an electric one?

Yes. A gas oven has burners and flame spreaders that need careful handling to avoid damage, while an electric oven has heating elements that must not be soaked. That is why we ask for the oven type when you call, so the work suits its components.

What should I check once the oven is cleaned?

Open the door and look at the interior walls and base; they should be free of dark crusts. Run your hand along the rack rails to check they slide easily. Look at the door glass from both sides to confirm it is clear. Then run the oven on a low setting for a few minutes and check that the smoke and smell are gone.

My oven grease is very old, can it still be removed?

Grease that has been baked on for a long time is harder and grips the enamel more tightly, and removing it takes more effort with close attention to avoiding scratches. Tell us when you call so we can assess the condition and agree with you on what is achievable and how that affects the details.
