The surface no longer reflects as it did
Polished marble gets its gloss from a thin layer at its surface. Daily use, the fine dust that accumulates and the intense summer heat wear that layer down gradually, leaving the surface dull and finely scratched even without any impact or breakage.
Tell us about the space and what you notice on the marble, name your district, and we agree a time that suits you. We handle the crystallisation polishing and leave you a surface that reflects light evenly, and we take care of the rest.

What does crystallisation marble polishing cover?
These are the stages the work goes through on the surface, depending on the condition of your marble and what you describe when you call.
- Surface assessment
We start by checking the degree of dullness, the depth of any scratches and any fixed stains, because the surface condition determines which steps the marble needs.
- Surface scratch treatment
Fine scratches sit in the top layer of the surface and are treated before the crystal is applied so they do not show through the gloss afterwards.
- Fixed stain removal
Stains that routine cleaning has not removed are treated at this stage, because leaving them under the crystal layer makes them more visible in direct light.
- Crystal layer application
A material is applied to the marble surface and bonded into it with heat and friction, rebuilding the top layer and giving it a deep, even gloss.
- Edge and corner gloss
Tile edges and surface corners are often missed in polishing work, so we go over them to make the gloss even across the whole surface and not only in the centre.
- Final light check
We check the surface from different light angles when we finish, because raking light reveals any unevenness in the gloss that a straight-on look does not show.
How do we start?
Three simple steps, and we take care of the rest.
Call or message us on WhatsApp
Tell us the service you need and your district.
Describe what you notice
Tell us whether the gloss has gone from the whole area or parts of it, whether you see scratches or fixed stains, which district you are in, and whether the surface is a floor or a counter.
Agree the time and prepare
We settle on a time that suits you. Clear the area of light furniture and rugs, and let us know if the space is in a tight room or an entrance that people pass through.
We start and you check
We work through the surface stage by stage, then show you the result in raking light at the end so you can see the gloss is even across the whole area.

One worry is that the work might leave an uneven gloss or bring out marks that were not visible before. Crystallisation polishing starts with a full surface assessment before any step begins, and it covers the edges and corners, not just the centre. Leave the rest to us.

Questions about Crystallisation marble polishing
What is the difference between crystallisation polishing and regular marble polishing?
Regular polishing works on the outer surface only, while crystallisation marble polishing bonds the applied material into the top layer using heat and friction, rebuilding it and giving a depth of gloss that surface buffing cannot match. It is the right choice when dullness is deep or fine scratches have spread across the area.
How do I know the marble needs crystallisation specifically?
The sign is that the gloss has gone from a wide area rather than specific spots, or that light scatters across the surface instead of reflecting evenly, or that cleaning brings back no shine. If the problem is a crack or a chip, that is a marble restoration matter rather than polishing.
Do I need to clear the whole space before you arrive for crystallisation polishing?
You do not need to empty the whole space, but moving light furniture and rugs off the area to be polished helps. Heavy furniture can be discussed when you call, because the space and access to it affect how the work is set up.
The gloss looks uneven in some corners after polishing, is that normal?
Uneven gloss in corners and along edges happens when those areas receive less work than the centre. That is why we check the surface in raking light and go over the edges to level the gloss. If you notice unevenness when we finish, let us know straight away.
What changes the price of crystallisation marble polishing from one home to another?
The price is affected by the area to be polished, the condition of the marble in terms of scratch depth and stain spread, ease of access, and whether the work is on a full floor or several surfaces. You tell us these details when you call or send a WhatsApp message, and we agree the price with you.
