Your inflatable pool holds more than just water
The surface of an inflatable pool is soft but it holds on to algae and deposits more than it appears to, and the summer heat creates the conditions for algae to establish themselves quickly after filling. Algae do not stay in the water alone: they work into the wall folds, the seam lines and around the drain valve, all the spots a quick wipe will not reach.
Draining the pool and cleaning it the right way starts with knowing where the dirt actually hides. Call or message us on WhatsApp, tell us the size of the pool, what you have noticed and which district you are in, and we agree a time that works for you.

What does inflatable pool cleaning cover?
These are the parts the cleaning goes through in an inflatable pool, depending on its size, condition and what you notice in it.
- Inner PVC walls
We wipe the inner walls throughout to remove the layer of algae and fine deposits, as PVC holds on to them more readily than ceramic or concrete does.
- Pool base
The base collects the fine dust and sand that the air carries in, and we remove it carefully so the thin PVC layer is not scratched.
- Wall folds and seam lines
Algae and bacteria hide in the wall folds and the stitched lines where the pool layers meet: these are the spots most often missed in a home clean.
- Drain valve and surround
Deposits collect around the drain valve and inside its opening; a blocked valve slows emptying and leaves residue on the base after cleaning.
- Upper inflation rim
The inflated rim touches both water and air and traps moisture, making it a common spot for mould patches that show up grey or black.
- Cover where present
The pool cover carries dust and moisture on its underside, and we clean it with the pool so the dirt does not return with the first use.
How do we start?
Three simple steps, and we take care of the rest.
Call or message us on WhatsApp
Tell us the service you need and your district.
Tell us about the pool
Tell us the approximate size of the inflatable pool, what you have noticed whether green patches, a slippery feel or cloudy water, and which district you are in.
We agree a time
We settle on a time that suits you; before we arrive, empty the water from the pool if you can and place it somewhere open and easy to reach.
The clean and what to check after
We clean the walls, base, folds, drain valve and rim; afterwards run your hand along the wall to check the slippery feel is gone, and look along the seam lines to confirm no white or grey patches remain.
A service that comes to your door
- We come to youOur team arrives at your home with its equipment.
- One callCall or message us on WhatsApp and we arrange the rest.
- Pools and tanks with one teamWe also handle pool disinfection, pool water treatment, pool filter maintenance, and water tank cleaning, disinfection and insulation.
- Describe the pool in your own wordsA call or a WhatsApp message is enough to explain what you see in your inflatable pool.
One worry is that cleaning might tear or weaken the pool wall. Working on these surfaces is different from built pools, and the cleaning method is decided according to the wall thickness and its condition. Tell us what you see and leave the rest to us.

Questions about Inflatable pool cleaning
How do I know my inflatable pool needs cleaning and not just a water change?
If you feel a slippery surface on the pool wall when you touch it, or see green or grey patches in the wall folds or seam lines, the problem is in the surface not only in the water. Changing the water removes what is in it, but algae that have settled into the PVC come back quickly into fresh water.
Do I need to empty the water before you arrive?
Emptying the water before we arrive makes the job easier and saves time. If you cannot do that, tell us when you call and we will agree on the right arrangement. The main thing is that the pool is in an open spot where all its sides are easy to reach.
Why do algae grow so fast in an inflatable pool?
The summer heat warms the shallow water in an inflatable pool faster than it does a deep pool, and that warmth combined with direct sunlight makes ideal conditions for algae. On top of that, the PVC surface traps moisture in its folds, which is the start of mould patches even when the water looks clean.
What should I check when the cleaning is done?
Run your hand along the pool wall to confirm the slippery feel has gone. Look along the seam lines and wall folds to check they are clear of patches. Open and close the drain valve once to make sure it moves freely. These three checks are enough to confirm the work is complete.
Does inflatable pool cleaning differ between a small children's pool and a large family one?
Size affects the details: a large pool has more folds, longer walls and sometimes multiple valves. The cleaning approach on the PVC surface stays the same in both cases. Tell us the approximate size when you call so we can agree on what suits your pool.
