On top of that, excess silicone around the frames and tape marks sit on the glass, so the space looks unfinished even after handover.

What does sticker and adhesive removal cover?
These are the parts and surfaces the work covers, depending on the condition of the glass and the type of adhesive on it.
- Glass protection stickers
We peel protection stickers off glass panes carefully, because the longer they sit in direct sun the harder they are to remove without leaving a sticky residue.
- Adhesive residue on glass
After the sticker comes off, a layer of adhesive stays on the surface. We clear it using a method suited to window glass without scratching the pane.
- Aluminium frames
Window and door aluminium frames carry their own stickers and tape marks. We remove them gently, because aluminium scratches more easily than glass.
- Silicone residue on glass
Excess silicone that squeezes out of frame joints during installation dries and bonds to the glass. It needs the right tool so no trace remains on the surface.
- Tape marks on glass
Tape fixed to glass during painting or electrical work leaves a sticky layer that bonds differently from standard protection stickers.

Questions about Sticker & adhesive removal
How do I know the adhesive needs a specialist rather than removing it myself?
If only a light sticky film remains after a recently removed sticker, a wipe may be enough. But if the adhesive has hardened in the heat, or the silicone has stiffened around the frame, pulling it off by force or with the wrong tool will scratch the glass or aluminium. In those cases, call us and describe what you see before you start.
What should I prepare before the appointment?
Make sure the windows and glass doors are accessible from inside, and let us know if any are on upper floors or in a tight spot. An empty property makes the work easier, and it helps to have power available on site.
What should I check on the glass after the removal is done?
Check each pane in natural light at an angle: remaining adhesive shows as a shiny or hazy patch. Check the aluminium frames and glass edges near the silicone line too, and tell us straight away if you spot anything missed so we can finish it before we leave.
Are old protection stickers harder to remove than fresh ones?
Yes, the difference is significant. A fresh sticker comes off with relative ease. When a sticker stays on glass through a summer under direct sun, the plastic layer degrades and the adhesive bonds much more firmly. That is why we ask when you call how long the stickers have been on, because it affects how the work goes.
Is sticker and adhesive removal a separate job or part of the full finishing clean?
It can be requested on its own if the property is otherwise clean and only the adhesive on the glass remains. It is also often part of a post-finishing apartment or villa clean when other surfaces need attention too. Tell us the condition of the property when you call and we agree what suits you.
